Lesson overview:
In this lesson the students learned about the importance of composition in photography because it can change the meaning of a photo. To gain a better understanding of composition, students studied the rule of thirds. This helped students improved their composition skills. The assignment for this lesson was to take pictures of objects from everyday life that people do not normally notice and make it beautiful through the use of composition.

Objectives:
1) Through a presentation of composition and the rule of thirds, students will successfully describe how the rule of thirds can be used to create a strong composition.
2) Given a demonstration on applying the rule of thirds to taking a photograph, students will creatively take a picture of an object with the use of the rule of thirds.
