High School Art
In my classroom I incorporate cross-curricular lessons, but I also teach students about diverse art from all over the world. As an international teacher, I want students to learn about many different cultures and art styles. This has helped students gain a better understanding of the world.
I have experience teaching art in a wide variety of art materials. Below are links to classes that I have taught with sample art lessons. Please take a look!

I have experience in many types of art materials. The high school age level is an exciting level to teach because students at this age are very skillful and capable of creating art at such high levels. I have taught a wide variety of art mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture, clay, and photography. I am also certified to teach AP Studio Art, which I earned through the College Board in 2017.
It is exciting to see the students grow both as artists and as students. The student work and passion at this level are amazing. Through in class discussions and critiques I provide strong guidance to help students pursue art.
In my art room I incorporate art critiques to help students become better and stronger artists. These have increased students' abilities to problem solve and to create meaningful artwork by improving critical thinking and analytical skills.
