Teaching middle school art is a fun and challenging.  Students are sarcastic and silly, which shows through creation.  Art is important for students at this age because they learn about the world and improve creativity and problem solving skills.

I often work with homeroom teachers to create cross-curricular art projects to help increase student understanding of the content.
