Contrast Layers
7th grade lesson overview:
In this lesson the students learned about the principle of contrast. Students discovered that contrast is created through opposing elements, such as warm and cool colors. In this assignment, students created a layered piece of artwork using three contrasting colors. Students planed each layer in their drawing books before beginning on the final paper.
